I’ve been deeply engrossed with building web-scale systems for over 25 years, and have been working at Automattic helping to build WooCommerce, WordPress.com, Jetpack and others for over 10 of those years. I’m currently the Artistic Director and overall Lead for WooCommerce, where I’m working with teams to build a modern, powerful commerce platform on top of WordPress.

With many years now in engineering and product leadership roles in one of the earliest and largest fully-remote/distributed companies, I’m very interested in all of the things that come together at the intersection of those topics.
